While reading some of your posts I often wonder what kinda plane does he/she fly. So lets see them.

    I'll start. This is my 1948 Stinson 108-3 with a 165 franklin

    ;)

If you can't tell from my avatar, it has a 165 Franklin too.

PS I love me some Stinsons. It really came down to the wire between a 108 and a 170 but in the end I opted for the spamcan.

Technically it is just as much yours as it is mine. That being said, I still love it to death.

Well, they belong to the club, but...

Oh, and 75898 has had a new paint job since that picture was taken back when I was a student pilot.

Club Planes. Technically I own part but have to share :(

The J3 is owned privately and I am lucky to be able to pay for some expenses and fly it. Non-equity partnership thing

2006 Diamond DA40 Star in my club is in my signature. I also fly a 1971 C182 in that club. In fact, that was the photo ship for the shot of the Mooney above, piloted by Pete (vontresc).

Nothing special, 1967 Cessna 172h, two 165 radios, DME with a 0-300d engine. It's been a great trainer and after my insterments cert is obtained then its time to upgrade, she has been a great trainer for me.

Mine, like me, is too ugly to be photographed so we both try and avoid the cameras.

Not that I'm aware of. I didn't really ask the previous owner that question though, good point. I just thought it was kind of obvious, it's a Cardinal after all. ;)

Well, with the possible exception of the markings on the door. They were the previous owner's cattle brands, hence my nickname for the plane: The Branded Bird.

That makes sense. I was wondering about the markings on the door.

Didn't it belong to a magazine writer? Tom Something or another?:dunno: I remember reading about it in one of the mags, he talked about how he or his wife designed the paint scheme. :D

Yes. Tom Benenson of Flying Magazine. How long ago was that article written, do you have any idea? I'd like to read it if I could find a copy.

It's a little disconcerting sometimes to be flying a famous airplane. Lots of people come up to me and say they've seen it before.

The big "C" on her tail, it was there when I bought her a couple years ago and somehow I came up the the name Charlene and it stuck. Sorta sounded like an aging stripper name to me, but everyone seems to know her by Charlene now. :D

We had to keep the "C" somewhere, so it's smaller now. :D
