I flew Dhahran, Saudi to Bahrain a few times.

7 minute total flight - and was in something like a A320 or 737 IIRC.

The FA's served peanuts & sodas on the ground (dates & Arabic coffee in first class - yum), then came around and collect all the trash, and only after that do they take off.

The ground food service took far longer than the actual flight.

I have done the flight from Tahiti to Moorea a couple of times, which I think is about 17 miles on a pretty spooky old plane with chickens running around both airports.

We dropped our PAX off in Hillsboro OR, and flew to Boeing Field. Without much gas we were to FL350 in about 5 minutes. Went to idle and glided home.
