So lately when I go to a new post from a link in a “new post” email, I can read the post, but Inget his message if I try to comment.

If I go to home, and then back to the thread it seems to clear it. I’m using Google E Mail BTW.

Most like one of the tokens expired or otherwise didn't match up. Some of the Xenforo stuff uses AJAX where Javascript stuff talks to the back end and it can get confused. The error comes from the javascript side.
Try clearing your cache, etc..

The only people this sorta outage did not impact are those that got sprayed by the funny shaped contrails.
