Man, I've got no words. I'm sorry for your loss just doesn't cut it sometimes.
 
Sorry to hear that. Pets are indeed one of the family, and it’s very hard to lose them.
 
He lived a GREAT life. He loved what he was doing and had fun every day.

Incredibly sorry to hear of your loss, but at least Piper isn’t suffering anymore. I love my dog dearly, and I know it will tear me up when his time comes.
 
Just so everyone knows, Piper was not my dog. A couple of the replies made me think I had somehow given that impression. I just had seen his story a few times over the past couple years and thought he was a cool dog and enjoyed watching videos of him doing his job. When I read of his passing, I just felt compelled to share.
 
We do much of the airline service into TVC. If you sent his handler a message on Facebook he’d even be there, schedule permitting, to meet your flight when you arrived. It’ll be sad no longer seeing Piper running around chasing the FOD with wings.

All dogs go to heaven. . .hope all my past pup-buds can sneak me in. I sure miss them.
