Lost a couple of knobs from my Century I autopilot turn and bank instrument. Does anyone know a place to get suitable replacements? Century wants $300 for the knobs which seems "a little high".

    I would like to find a new T&B head unit 28v. I have a 14v sitting in a box.

If I come across either i'll post here.

Have you considered 3D printed knobs?

I'd just look for a generic replacement knob that fits the shaft size. Google for diy electronics parts suppliers and, as long as the shaft is a standard size, you should be able to replace the knob with something that looks "close enough" for just a few dollars.

AFAIK, knobs are not something that need to be aviation-approved.

If you're gonna use guitar parts, you should go all out and get the Rickenbacker Vintage 'TV knobs'

Funny, that was basically my thought with my previous post. Although in my mind I had Mammoth Electronics, a local (to me - Norman, OK) online DIY guitar parts store with a ton of knobs and stuff. This would look fine on a Century 1, I'd think, assuming the shaft size is right:

    70 cents a piece!

You guys do realize that you are discussing your shaft size and knobs along and replacement thereof on a public forum?

My knobs are great but I may swap out for some of these or maybe even machine heads.
