Would this be something for a new A&P to go through on his own to get a job working Helicopters. Would a company look at this as something the A&P did on his own and stand out or would the company look at it like they would send them to the Robinson school any way.
 
I don't think many A&Ps attend OEM schools on their own dime, especially in todays employment climate.
 
In addition to what Bnt wrote, the value of the training is going to be dependent on how much Robinson helicopter maintenance is going on in a given area. The training would be worthless to me, the last time I saw a Robinson fly through was about 2 years ago and the last time I worked on one was over 5 years ago. But if there is a school or some Ag operators in the area it might be worth pursuing.
