I'm working on my commercial and going on a long multi-day drive. I'm looking for some podcasts to listen to that could help me with my commercial checkride and written.

I listen to Max Prescott but would like to hear if some others that could help.

I'm all caught up on Opposing Bases and Max Trescott's podcast, so I've begun listening to back episodes of 'Behind the Prop.' Decent so far.

Lol. I thought Trescott but still typed Prescott.

I'll check out Opposing Bases and Behind the Prop.

Opposing Bases was really useful during IR training. I didn't really enjoy the show the first time I tried to dive in on a current episode, but really liked it after going back to episode 1 and starting on the ground floor.

It's not going to be very valuable for CSEL checkride prep.

Seth Lakes VSL Aviation podcast is pretty good if you like the discussion of ACS adjacent issues. There is a lot of checkride discussion, including his 4-part dive into the Commercial ACS.

There I Was, from AOPA Air Safety Institute. RIP Richard.

Ask the A&P's with Mike Busch, Paul New, and Coleen Sterling is really good.

Really enjoyed his presentations on the Savvy Aviation Channel. Good stuff, especially for piston aircraft owners.

I just listened to a recent one of his covering Jason Blair's recommendations for changes to Commercial ACS and it was very good.

I know, I know, this was like a month ago. But I haven’t been on in a minute.

Thanks Martin for the suggestion of us at Flying Midwest Podcast! I also have a podcast Fly the Transition that tells stories of people changing careers into aviation.

Outside of my shameless plug, I’ll say that behind the scenes, the aviation podcasting community is super collaborative and have some really great shows and hosts.

Check these ones out, they all have their own subtle difference in topic.
