You all should really experience some of the obscure sports in person…Chuck wagon and chariot races (the latter I think stopped, at least the cool classes around my area, in the mid 90’s. then the main contenders would run 30 gallon drums cut in half with bicycle tires and a forabreast team of thoroughbreds retired and retrained from the jockey tracks). School bus races, train races (not real trains, a truck and two junk cars chained together with a driver in the truck and a “brake man” in the second car), greased pig catching contests, armored MMA.. the world is pretty interesting when you get a ways from the cities…
The “night of destruction” at the Hancock county fair in britt iowa is like the Super Bowl of crazy motor sports. Look up videos of it . Tickets sell out far ahead of time. As an added plus that fair also has a greased pig contest and huge nightly concerts.

Go Seahawks! Not that I really care that much, but I have some cousins who live out there who are Seahawks fans and of course the Minnesota fans having to deal with giving up a QB who then went to the Super Bowl immediately is just a bonus.
