I just left Pancho at the emergency vet.

She got bloat and died in my arms in the car.

That sucks Mike! I am sorry for your loss. We had to put a 14 year cat down w/ cancer and I was a mess. It's like losing a family member....

I'm sorry, Mike. :(

Ohhhhh, Mike, I'm sooooooo very sorry. :(

I've had beloved pets die in my arms, too....it's absolutely heartbreaking.

I wish there were words that could somehow make you feel better right now.

Mike - sorry to hear that dude. Is that your Bully? My pork chop Bully's will take care of him over the Rainbow Bridge

Mike so sorry to hear of this. She was a good one, I am glad I got to meet her a couple of times. She was happy to have a dad like you rescue her.

My sincere condolences, Mike. I hope you are able to cope this week. I feel lucky to have met her at Gastons, such a lovable gal. May you have fond memories to sustain you.

Sorry to hear that Mike. It happens to all of us with pets and still doesn't get any easier.

Aw, geez... I'm so sorry.
I hope that you're able to find comfort in your many good memories.

Oh, NO!

Mike, I'm terribly sorry to hear that. :(

What a rotten way to start the week.

My condolences as well. At times like this, one might question having pets but as you know the good times are definitely worth the grief at the end.

Mike, I'm so sorry to hear that. I know you'll miss her, but she'll always be in your heart.

I always cry like a little baby when one of my pet's crosses that rainbow bridge (I cried the first time I read that poem, too).

My condolences.

Oh my god, Mike, I'm so sorry. So sudden. :(

I'm sure she had a great life with you as master. You seemed to love that dog :(

Mike, that is so very sad to hear. She had the good life, though, to have had such a kind soul as you rescue her.

Mike, I'm really sorry to hear that. I never got to meet her, but I know that you cared for her deeply. You have my condolences as well.

Sorry to hear that Mike. When I met Pancho at Gastons in '08 she seemed like a real nice pup. And a smart one to boot. She found the best spot when you dropped by at Mountain home on the way home.

Oh man Mike, I'm sorry to hear that. That sucks. :(

She was a good pup - One time when I was over at Mike's watching TV, she came over and plopped her head on my knee wanting me to pat her. Very friendly!

Sorry to hear this. Glad you could be with her at the end. I am sure she found some comfort in that. Very truly sorry for your loss. . .

Dang, Mike. Really sorry to hear that. :(

I'm gonna go give my pups an extra pig ear for Pancho - equivalent of a dog "tipping a 40 for the homies".
