Engine = Lycoming IO-360-XX / 180 horse
Aircraft late model Citabria = Inverted oil system.

engine will blow all the oil in the engine out thru the crank case breather.

cause?

crankcase pressurized through air pressure on bad nose seal is an unusual but possible culprit if you've exhausted other alternatives. I saw that on a neighbor's RV4 with O-320

That seems like a 1 in a 1,000,000 deal. Every nose seal that I've seen leaking seems to deposite oil on the winshield { in a single engine airplane ;-) }

I've seen this happen when someone installed the wrong crank seal. There was about 1/8 in. gap between the crank and the seal. Looked good till I stuck a mirror in there for a closer look.
