Well kinda "Official".

POA management has not endorsed or approved of this poll. Let's show them we know how to behave. ;)

Please no political commentary, no spin zoning, just an honest poll of POA members and lurkers.

All vote are confidential.

Thanks!

Where's the option for Bill the Cat?

Anyhow, Mr. Obama didn't get my vote.

I voted a month ago..... No way my mind can change..:nonod::no:..

I have to say... Obama talked the talk and I still voted for Mc Cain back then... The major deal breaker for me is when Pelosi pulled the " you have to vote for and pass the bill to see whats in it" .. I will NEVER vote for any Democrat.. EVER...:no::no::nonod: YMMV.

Your list is incomplete - at least for Oregon. The following candidate names and party affiliations appear on the Oregon Ballot for United States President:

Barack Obama / Joe Biden, Democrat
Jill Stein / Cheri Honkala, Pacific Green
Ross C (Rocky) Anderson / Luis J Rodriguez, Progressive
Gary Johnson / James P Gray, Libertarian
Mitt Romney / Paul Ryan, Republican
Will Christensen / Kenneth L Gibbs, Constitution

(I voted for Kodos.)

We have Roseanne Barr on the ballot here.
Don't the rest of you?
I chose not to gift her my vote, however.

Amateurs....Colorado had 16 candidates including Roseanne Barr. Around here it only takes $500 and a nominal number of signatures to get on the ballot.

Pilots tend to have higher income than average, amd higher income folks are more likely to vote Republican, so the results are about what I expected.

Well, so much for no political commentary per Geico's request. ;)

I get no respect.

Come on guys NO POLITICAL COMMENTARY! Do you argue politics inside the polling place? Vote and go home.

The Gecko has spoken!

I am Ted DuPuis, nobody of importance, and I have approved this message.

FWIW, I'm voting for Cthulhu. Why settle for a lesser evil? :D

Agreed.....

This poll reflects my thoughts on pilot based voting trends....

The one scary vote is the guy /gal? who voted "undecided".... Geez, we are airmen, who are trained to act quickly and logically in the face of any obstacle thrown at us..... Undecided with just hours to go before election day :dunno:.:yikes:

Where is the "The Rent is too Damned High" ticket? Come on, Geico!

Synonyms for undecided this election:
Frustrated, Apathetic, Bored, Scared, Lonely, Needy for attention....

As usual I'm voting for the ones I hope will be the least destructive. I'm sure whoever gets elected will disappoint me and the rest of the country deeply. I really wish there were a better choice -- ANY better choice. It seems the political party system is engineered to eliminate anyone who could actually have a positive impact.

Sorry... re-reading that, I obviously need more coffee. I'll just be happy when the endless political phone calls finally stop. By 2016 I fully intend to have a whitelist on my phones during the election cycle -- if your number isn't on it, you get voicemail.

We only have seven candidates on the Presidential Ballot in Ohio but I didn't see Harry S. (NMN) Truman OR Bill the Cat, my personal choices.

I am a Geezer and I approve that message whatever it was.

Cheers

For the first time in thirty years or so I have a bumper sticker on my car. Several people have pulled up beside me and told me it had made their day and influenced who they were going to vote for.

It's a Kenobi 2012 (Our Only Hope).

Snoopy for President!
Pat Paulson for President!
Afred E Neuman, WhatMeWorry Party for President!

more choices! We need more choices!

The main reason for being undecided I think, is intending to keep your opinion to yourself. Lots of people simply don't want to blab their private voting info.

You forgot the American Independant Party:

Hoefling/Ellis

At least give an "other" as an option in the poll!

When I was in college, student elections were always a big deal on campus. The "Apathy Coalition" made sure to paste "Who Cares?" signs all over the bulletin boards and bus stop shelters. When they got something like single digit votes in an election where only about 20% voted anyway, they went ahead and declared victory.

Him and the "Pants on the ground" guy share an apartment in NY. :dunno:

Wasn't, The Rent's Too Damn High, guy running for Governor of NY? I can't remember the race, just how much fun it was to watch him on you tube.

This election is really left wing commy looser vs right wing war monger looser.

I'll pen in Ron Paul

I was referring to the truly undecided.

"Pacific Green" sounds more like a strain of cannibis rather than a political party.

Went to fly yesterday. Didn't (ceilings coming down). But during my preflight briefing I got to hear about a VP visit to a nearby town and a Presidential visit today. I am SO tired of this election. I get 12 robocalls a day. I've been called by Bill Clinton, Barak Obama, Hillary Clinton, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Mitt Romney, John McCain, Newt Gingrich, Maddy Albright and Odin only knows who else. The only real saving grace is I can record any TV I want and fast forward through the blizzard of political ads. I think they must be spending around $100 per vote, if not more.

It might actually be worth it to live in a place like Texas if it meant no one gave a crap about my vote and didn't call, leave mailers, E-mail, and all that other crap. I am sick up to here with it all.

And like I've been saying, it really doesn't matter at all who wins. Nothing will change. Nothing at all.

I'm more interested in knowing how many single issue voters there are.

For a lot of folks around me, the economy is all they want to talk about.
For some veterans, particularly older ones, the Libyan screw up seems to be all they'll talk about.
For quite a few seniors living near me, obamacare is all that's driving them to vote.
Abortion is another single issue, folks bring up when the topic arises.
The number of "single issue" robo calls is up this election.

Robocalls have let up this week for me. I just had a thought, though. I can go to the state website and find out that my mail-in ballot was received on October 30th. I wonder if both sides look at this information and realize that calling me won't do any good.

The way I see it, there's only two ways to vote. If you're financially independent you vote your passion. If you aren't, you vote your wallet.
