For the flight review I have scheduled for tomorrow:

FM270500 17005KT P6SM OVC025

Hopefully we can get the ground portion knocked out at least...

Grrrrrr

Yeah I was planning a solo xcountry here in upstate SC. Pretty sure I will scratch it.

Hey, a chance to demonstrate good decision making. Not that it's all that difficult to make that decision.

What is the issue?

light winds, great forward viz, more than enough ceilings, unless you're going to be doing spins or aerobatics.

Haven't flown for a little over 4 years, I'd like to do slow flight and stalls before doing landings, and I'm not comfortable doing stalls at 1000agl.

OVC025 works for me, OVC015 is my limit with pattern altitude of 1000ft.

Another 1,000' lower and it would be some good approach practice weather. ;)

Not so great for someone that hasn't flown in 4 years though. :(

Ahh well, it's just a forecast, check again tonight might be a little better. What time ya going in Z time?

Meet up at 14Z, he figures an hour or two ground, then go fly. So ~16Z wheels up. 18Z prog not looking super good either.

Oh well, it's been a long battle, what's another week?

A shame too, weather been excellent this week. I have a couple students on the schedule myself, probably do ground if they come out. Hang in there Bill, like you said, what's another week....

Damn it Bill, the Flying Machine get together is only a few weeks away. Get ‘er done!

Worse case, he’ll have to tough another one out with me!

I kid, I kid... ;)

Currently the GFA at AWC is showing it to be a 500 ft thick layer at 15z (as far as it goes). If it holds to that, maybe your CFI can get a clearance to climb on top and then do your air-work?

Ah, didn't know that. Safety first.
Been trying to knock out MEL for the last month, between low (<4000) ceilings and annual on the Seminole , not progressing.

Went for a lesson (actually two back to back) a couple days ago but got to the runway and there was a problem with LG. Back to the shop... maybe next week. Frustrating.

Yup looking low ceilings and rain here, and suppose to fly at 730 local. What's on TV tomorrow....:(

Half way there, ground portion done! Low ceilings, airmet for turb, and 36kts at 3000 kept us from the flying portion. Scheduled for next Saturday afternoon. Is it next week yet?

I flew this morning! Whimps! Winds SE, light rain. Messed my do up w/ the humidity.
