Apparently a fuel issue forced the plane down. Very nicely landed in a terrible spot in the middle of a busy freeway. No injuries, no damage.

On the other hand, the reporting on it is naturally...questionable. "The pilot told the California Highway Patrol that the fuel line snapped and caused the plane to lose pressure." I'll bet that's not what the pilot said...
 
i really hope they fix the problem and let him take off.
 
You can definitely see some power lines in the video, so I'm really glad it worked out as perfectly as the situation allowed.
 
That was on I-580, which a very busy and somewhat hilly and windy multi-lane freeway. If it were a weekday, it would have been stop-and-go traffic. I'm just shocked they managed to get it between cars and hit nothing. Dunno how much was luck and how much was skill, but I think it took plenty of both.
