CNN reporting a 'manned' aircraft just touched down next to the Capitol building. Pilot 'in custody'.

If only there were a TSA agent at each of our hangars/tiedowns this would have never happened.

That is a very good point and I'm going to set up a website that everyone can use to write their congresscritter and express their concerns on this very topic.

After making his intentions known publicly you would think they might have been watching him.

"Government" and "think" should never be used in the same sentence without a negative qualifier.

"I have got a plane, a gyro-plane. And I’m going to fly it, I’m going to violate the no-fly zone, non-violently," Hughes, 61, said in a video posted on the Tampa Bay Times website today. "I’m going to land on the Capitol Mall."

I knew it. Howard Hughes.

Its all Ok. Its just a delivery from the US Mail. Hope there was enough postage.

"Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night, nor beltway traffic, stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds."

This guy will get a promotion!

Mathias Rust your turn. There is some really old Pitcairn autogyro promo stuff shot off the Capitol Lawn, times they have a changed.

After reading the article, I kinda like this guy.

And ole Tim too. He even starts SZ threads in HT.

Sorry...Nothing political about that...just a guy who fully surrendered and still took a sucker punch (or kick) to the nutsack.

The outrage was equal from both sides of the aisle.

Edit: BTW...I see zero difference between a thread talking about a cop kicking a guy in the nutsack and one talking about a TSA agent grabbing a guy in the nutsack. You saying that one was political too?

In both cases, a person in an "authority position" abused their power. Barney Fife's are everywhere.
