Blown away by the wind...
Or perhaps better:
Brick House, she's mighty mighty....
Who's afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?
Rockin' like a hurricane
Are there any winners here or has the wife overruled them all?
What do you call a man with no arms and no legs who can swim?
Fly away home...
The Landing Strip
I've always called my house "the house" but in college my roomates and I used to refer to the places we rented in amusing ways.
The Sciota Complex, the Jackson Compound, etc... based on the town or street it was on.
Ha ha...I'm scared to send her the link to the thread
Taxi Inn. Glide Inn. Cleared To Land Inn.
Something we all aspire to.
Amelia's Landing. Oh, wait...
They're Here To Help
Better Than an Ohio Bicycle
LOL...this sounds like a boat naming thread. Would you rent a house named "Money Pit" for the week?
Always liked the ring of "Steinholme". Yours could be "Steinholme by the Sea".
I do think the fellow who suggested "The Money Pit" was spot on, though you might want to obfuscate it with "Unwise Investment" or perhaps "Their Inheritance".
ATITPPA at the Sea.....
First time I saw that was in Grand Isle, LA. Lot of creative names. My favorite was a trailer up on pilings (most of the houses were on pilings to protect them from storm surge flooding.) The trailer on pilings was named "It's a Start"
Going with this theme, how about "Bye Bye Buck$"
But you also consider tofu a valid pizza topping.
more ideas here at this site.....and here are current names.
Congrats!!! Mary and I really enjoy Nags Head when we get down there. One of the places that influenced us to retire at the beach.
Coastal Aviation Retreat
I most certainly do not. I actually cooked with tofu the other night for this first time in a couple decades. I do think it belongs in fried rice, which I made in my new wok.
I think anchovies are a valid pizza topping, though that is another discussion.
I didn't see Flight Deck on your list. A good name if indeed it has a deck.
Ok, so you didn't like Money Pit. How about College Fund. As in poor kids lost their college fund so mommy and daddy can have a nice beach house.
Amelia's Landing is where she drowned most likely. Not a good name for a seaside abode in my humble opinion.
That would be Amelia's Ditching.
She did land more than once....
Amelia's Hideaway (or use your wife's name, score!)
That's a good one too!
was considering this for my VA house, but SWMBO thought otherwise.
I'm actively looking to rent out a place there for a week in the off season (early/mid may), and maybe a couple days Jun 18-22. Will shoot you a PM tomorrow.
I thought you said it was near the ocean... how about Navy oriented... Seamen Run
Take a play on Nag's Head. Has anyone claimed her arm, leg, foot, chest, belly, ass . . . ???
Yeah, Nag's Ass just doesn't have a good sound, does it?
