Moving to digital logbook

The problem of course, would be "how does it determine first movement?". I mean, your iPad is "moving" constantly - to the hangar, loading up the plane, oops got to run into the FBO for a minute,
HA! Granted, they did not say, so you never know.... But I'm assuming they mean when FF recognizes it is connected to a panel or remote (Sentry, etc.) ADS-B/GPS and there is movement.

You would think so, wouldn't you? But it's really just about receiving location data while the app is loaded, whatever the source. I recall seeing one that looked way out of whack. And then I realized it included the drive home from the airport. And my iPad isn't even cellular!

Ah yes, I have seen posts about that. Guess I'll stick with no Track Log and manually hitting the Logbook and adding the Shutdown Time (Start Tiem is already there from the prior entry). Takes only a couple of seconds and I can reviewthe entry later to make sure the total entry is correct.
