Are the little commercial jets required to make passengers wear masks on board?
As far as I know the mask requirement is a company policy, not a federal one.
I agree. First, there's no Federal mask mandate, period. On the ground (including the FBO), it's local law that applies. It's possible local law applies to you when on the ground. Here if you're riding in public transportation or even private transportation with people from outside your household, you're supposed to be masked. Alas, the enforcement against individuals is pretty non-existant. Indeed, our Sheriff's office has self-proclaimed the law to be Unconstitutional and refuses to touch it. There's more leverage against licensed businesses who can have regulatory action taken against them for not enforcing compliance on their own.
There no federal mask mandate yet. The next administration has said day one they are going to require masks on when they can by executive order. They could do emergency rule making for masks on airlines.
I think as others have said, it's company. That goes for little turbo prop's as well...
The airlines I've ridden on require it unless actively eating or drinking. Alaska Air has had center seats blocked but that changed last week. They're filling the planes again. American has been filling seats for some time.
I think they should remove all the center seats...
You’re required to wear one or you’ll be denied boarding. Delta also bans masks with the little flap and face shields. If you wear a plastic face shield, you also have to wear a mask.
and people buy large drinks and a few bags of snacks and as long as you're eating or drinking you don't need to have your mask on. In October I had to fly to SF for business and on the flight out a guy across the aisle from me had his mask off the entire flight from Charlotte to SF using the snack method.
He'll probably sue the airline for making him fat.
I'm so tired... my mind went here.
Buy a huge bag of popcorn and slowly eat it one kernel at a time during the entire flight
Flight from Charlotte? That horse left the barn a long time ago...
No masks when I’m flying! But then again, I’m related to my passengers..
I think they should remove every second row too.
I don’t want to pay that much to fly.
Is there but a single second row? The row after that is the third row...
but then the third row becomes the second row....
