And I had the audacity to complain about Lotus Notes!?!?! Our company, nameless to protect the guilty, has begun a mass exodus from Lotus Notes to MS/Outlook. For reasons I'm entirely in the dark about, they have chosen NOT to convert any of the Lotus Notes mail folders or archives.
Has anyone done such a conversion and would you happen to have some easy tools to use to do it?
While my Lotus Notes folders contain close to 8,000 emails (a few years worth), I could live with a whole lot less. Really, some of them are the typical CYAz you need in corporate America but who wants to be without the pet pictures from your 3rd cousins second wife's youngest daughter.
Any help or direction would be appreciated.

Microsoft Outlook (versions 2000 and newer - and I believe earlier versions) all you to import directly from Lotus Notes. File....Import and Export...
    Pretty easy really.

Well, good thought but all I have to import is Lotus Organizer; an entirely different product. (I won't discount the fact that perhaps that function was disabled.) Have you another idea?

Lotus Organizer is a scheduler type product. I'm using Lotus NOTES, an email and calendar program. If I could get a flat file generated from Lotus NOTES ala NETSCAPE mail, I'd be happy. There doesn't seem to be a lot of options.
Searching the web, I found a couple of products but both are $160 + for a single license. I'm not sure I really need this stuff all that badly.

@silver-eagle - Have you been limping along on Lotus Notes for all this time? :)

I never cease puzzling over why people don't just use perfectly-good FOSS calendaring alternatives like Thunderbird and CalDAV.
