So, I started flying back before all of the electronic log books were a thing in 2005. I used a paper log book all the way through my private pilots license. My last entry in it was in 2021 when I stopped using it all together and started using MyFlightBook exclusively. I took pictures of all my old endorsements from my paper log book and uploaded them to my flight book. All my endorsements going forward have been electronic. I’m primarily a helicopter pilot who flies a 182 for fun. My end goal is either fixed wing or helicopter 135, but in the event that I ever need to go to the airlines, would having all of my stuff in that electronic log book be acceptable? I do keep a separate paper log book for my glider time to track SSA badges and stuff, but the time still goes in MyFlightBook

Are you asking if having an electronic logbook as your only logbook is acceptable for future employers? Yes, absolutely. That is the case with many, or maybe even most, pilots these days.

So, if I got to an interview, just printing out my electronic would be sufficient?

Most electronic logbooks have a report function, that can print out myriad of options for however you would like the information displayed.

I was in a similar situation when I started flying civilian, in that I had over 20 years of flying for the Army that I did not have personal log books for. Ultimately, I just took my 759 and input a “balance forward” entry into my electronic logbook, Log Ten Pro. It’s worked seamlessly, and perfectly acceptable on interviews.

I can't imagine that being an issue at any reasonable company.

A company that requires you to present paper logbooks would be automatically eliminating a very large percentage of possible applicants.

If you want paper print out the pages from the electronic file.

If you haven't already, you may want to slowly start adding in your old flights from your paper Logbook to have the electronic Logbook Reports be complete. Not manditory, but it makes it easier when submitting your Logbook.

The other option would be to create a few one line entries that complets your electronic Logbook. In the Comment section just put something like "See paper Logbook for details and signatures." But anyone with half a brain should know what the entry is. And if they don't, maybe it's not an operation you want to work for. :D
