Lets make Friday 'Joke Day'!

I could only take the first minute of that "performance", which reminded me of the orgasmic moments of an old porn flick ... or the lust-filled mating calls of a horny whale ... or sumthin. I don't know much about Ono except that her name sounds like "Oh No!".

Someone already posted this one, but it fits the current direction.

In all seriousness ... it seems that the band and producers John had at one time worked really hard to try and make her sound "acceptable." If there was a song of hers that is "not horrible" it is a song from the Milk & Honey album titled, "Don't Be Scared" ... but it is the production that saves this one!

The above is true! Accidentally calling a girl her sister's name in casual conversation can be a life threatening event, depending on your history with the sister. And yes, I already know, I don't always make excellent life choices. Entertaining? Sometimes. Excellent? More rarely.

Good for you.

The one on the left married John Lennon and wrecked the Beatles. The one on the right married Prince Harry and wrecked the royal family.

It loses something when it has to be explained.

I have no idea why people still support the useless web-toed pedophile royal family...

And now for some proper english humor. Or humour?

I think the British are pretty good at humor. Also designing engines and fighting defense. The French? Not so good at those things. The Germans can do the latter two, but not so much humor, either. Just my highly biased 2 cents.

One of my favorite partial lines from a TV show ends with "...the day the British produce a decent bottle of wine, a world class chef, or a car with a functional electrical system."

Heaven is where the police are British, the cooks are French, the mechanics German, the lovers Italian and it's all organized by the Swiss.

Hell is where the chefs are British, the mechanics French, the lovers Swiss, the police German and it's all organized by the Italians.

One of our local plumbing companies used to have a team in bbq contests. Part of their gimmick was a toilet converted into a smoker. They always waited until a tv crew would come by, then open the lid to show a half dozen or so sausages on the grill.
