Lets make Friday 'Joke Day'!

[GaryM]

This was on a system access form I filled out at work today, after entering your name it asked for suffix. Standard question, of course, but do you think the developer got a little carried away?

Maybe the developer wanted to cover the next 5 Popes to adopt the Pius name, after Pope Pius XII?

And all parts are guaranteed for the life of the part!

Ours goes to XI

[Daleandee]

Ours goes to XI

Nigel Tufnel & I see what you did there ...

[JOhnH]

His name was Louis?

I was thinking "Henery".

[DaleB]

I was thinking "Henery".

He only got to VIII, though, innit?

[Albany Tom]

I don't think they should go past III. Most companies have enough problems with HR without adding British or French royalty to the workforce.

[Matthew]

Ours goes to XI

My wife used to work with a Chinese guy named Xi. Nobody bothered with his “American” name, they just called him “Eleven”. They called his wife “Twelve”.

[Daleandee]

I was thinking "Henery".

"Wouldn't have a Willy or a Sam ..."

[Lycosaurus]

[Dana]

"Wouldn't have a Willy or a Sam ..."

No Sir!

[MauleSkinner]

"Wouldn't have a Willy or a Sam ..."

I would HOPE she wouldn’t have a Willy…

[Daleandee]

I would HOPE she wouldn’t have a Willy…

No need to go there ...

[Zeldman]

When I was still a mere boy going to elementary school, there was a kid in the class named Seven. He had older siblings named in no specific order: Six, Five, Four, Three, Two and One.

At least their parents gave them normal middle names, which they went by.

And yes, the boys would show up to school every first of the month with chili bowl haircuts...

I experienced this just a few moments ago!

The other one today was the woman that pulled out in front of me (I'm on the motorcycle) and realizing I'm coming at her STOPS in the lane in front of me not knowing what to do. I was watching/prepared so it wasn't a huge situation as I anticipated what she was going to do.

On a motorcycle you learn to read minds from afar ...

Maybe the developer wanted to cover the next 5 Popes to adopt the Pius name, after Pope Pius XII?

After Y2K, I optimistically started writing my code to be Y10K compliant, just in case.

[Half Fast]

On a motorcycle you learn to read minds from afar ...

...and learn just how empty many of them are.

[MauleSkinner]

No need to go there ...

Especially if she has one.

Here's a truck driver who devoted a great deal of energy to preventing people from passing:

[Charlie Golf]

I have a disease where I can't stop telling airport jokes.

My doctor says it's terminal.

Skip the doctor, see a shrink. You have emotional baggage.

Well that ramped up quickly.

Ramp it up a bit more!

We're just chock full of great ideas.

Towering punsters here

First Class all the way!

[Half Fast]

First Class all the way!

I think I’m seeing a pattern here.

[DaleB]

Towering punsters here

I mean, it's fairly base humor, but still... Just make sure you stand upwind.

[Half Fast]

This thread seems to be stalling.

That's just your spin.

[Half Fast]

That's just your spin.

Yep, and you can bank on it.

[Daleandee]

This thread seems to be stalling.

It might still fly ... with a wing and a prayer!

The stopped serving beer at Wrigley Field.

Why?

Because the Cubs lost the opener.
