Let’s make Wednesday 'recipe' day!

I don't really have anything to contribute here.
Was that the motto of your community college?:rofl::rofl:

So here is my non-contribution.

Thanks to Steingar I tried a vegi chili recipe based on his guidelines. While it came out different than my usual chili it was good.

here it is:

1 cup dried Roman beans (you can use pinto ones)
1/2 cup garbonza beans
1/2 cup canary beans

rehydrate and cook the beans

1 red onion
2 carrot
1 parsnip

Dice and sweat in olive oil with salt and pepper

mix in with beans in a crockpot

add two cans plum tomatos and one small can of tomato paste and some TVP based vegi-sausage. I used the breakfast flavored stuff cause I like the spices in it.

Spice (feel free to adapt)
chili powder
spicy paprika
basil
cumin
salt and pepper
dash of cinnamon
some smokey bbq sauce

cook for 8 hours on low and then eat, YUMMY!

What the hell are Roman beans and canary beans?!? Never seen those in any store I've been to!

I want more chocolate pie!
Chocolate pudding (cooked, not instant)
Graham cracker pie crust
Whipped cream
Stir until thoroughly mixed
Spoon into pie crust
Chill and serve
