Learning More about Weather

[steviedeviant]

POA,

Besides the FAA book on weather, can any of you recommend a resource on weather for the VFR pilot in terms of just having a better understanding of planning, conditions that could change weather - just basic overall better education on the subject - that you might recommend either through a book or website?

Just trying to be a better pilot.

Thanks,
SD

Search for ScottD, he offers several online weather seminars. Worth every penny I’ve been told.

Edit: here’s his website

Weather for Dummies? Do they have a weather book? No? OK, just throwing it out there.

What about that chick that does weather seminars for the FAA? Delvin? Think she has a book or two, good or not I dunno. Speaking of the FAA, their website has numerous seminars that you can watch online. Check it out:
