I like my OLED screens for my laptop in my office. I thought they were dimmer than LCD? I don't need a dimmer ipad in the cockpit.

Jokes aside, when I was having to do a lot of late night computer stuff I got some amber Rosco gel filter from B&H photo, and taped that over the laptop screen. Cheap and way easier on the eyes.

Maybe I have it backwards, I thought OLED was "blacker blacks" and dimmer vs. LCD.

I didn't flip to iphone until a few months ago, so no idea what was compelling about the X.
