I'm not a big ketchup fan to begin with, so it's no problem for me to remain 'hot dog PC'. The dogs I loved best were the Tijuana bacon wrapped street cart dogs, and those were typically served with relish, onions, and mayo. Chili-cheese dog comes in second. When I stop by Grey Papaya or similar, typically light on the course mustard and onions, or just plain. Their dogs are good enough that they stand well on their own.
Henning, if you like Tijuana street cart good, you'll love some Discount Sushi:

TJ street carts provide two of my favorite snacks in the world, those hot dogs and the tacos done on the grill, not the spit. Many things are edible if cooked correctly, make it taste yummy and I'll eat it.
