Piper Cherokee seat, where the seat back meets the frame or seat cushion where you sit. When you get in the back seat, you fold the seat back forward, pax gets in and you push the seat back into normal position, this is where the seat back meets the seat cushion frame, 2 pieces of metal meet and a rubber is located here (2 per seat, left and right sides). If that makes sense? What is it used for? Make/model of device it goes in?
I have this and checked to no avail.I’d start with the PA-28 parts manual. They’re available online for free. Every aircraft owner should have the service and parts manuals for their plane.
I’ll get more photos later, you just put a normal screw right in the middle of the grommet to the seat frame. Can you post some side pics?
Are both sides open in the middle or is one side closed?
What does it mount onto? Something like this?
