Egomaniac (aka Gene Simmons) Banned From Fox

Gee, they hired an aging rock star. They got their moneys worth!

You don't know you don't know.

First... I like Kiss. A LOT. Someday I'll actually see them in Detroit, Rock City!

Anyway, this Vault thing is an anthology with 150 never released songs with the Van Halen's, Joe Perry, Paul Stanley and Ace. Asking price?

$ 2,000 for the collection and a listening party with him
$25,000 for the collection, a longer meeting, and your name as an executive producer
$50,000 for the collection DELIVERED to your home by Gene, and a 2 hour meeting with you and 25 of your friends.

Personally, I'm going to be nicer to @SixPapaCharlie so I can get one of his 25 seats :)

Squeeze it until they get every cent they can. Cracks me up. I just don't care for the commercialization of the group. But that's why we have so many groups though, different strokes for different folks. :D

It's like getting all azzed up when your pet bear eats your neighbor.

The Michael Jackson jokes were probably over the line, the rest, from the article anyway.... the rest, the guy is an elite entertainer who makes his money being over the top. He opened his shirt not his pants, I'm not seeing the problem except maybe the Michael Jackson jokes.

Gene Simmons is all about marketing. KISS was all marketing with music thrown in. This guy is all business first. He is no dummy but a very smart business man. Music is what he choose to market.

I like his music, but I would rather spend 2 hours talking business marketing with him instead of music.

...bopped two employees on the head with his book, making derisive comments about their comparative intelligence according to the sound their heads made when struck.

Well, can't you judge the freshness of a melon by thumping it? :p

Terry Gross' interview with Simmons on NPR's Fresh Air is a hilarious cringefest if you can find it.

Nauga,
prickly

$75,000 for the collection alone and no interaction with Simmons.

Nauga,
who saw them live before some of you were born ;)
