Thank you, TangoWhiskey & Fredbob711. It was an awesome flight, we learnt a lot (first XC IFR flight after getting our tickets) and met awesome people while helping those cats to get to their forever homes... :) The cats rolled up and probably tried to sleep...

We went flying for a quick spin around the airport before the plane goes into the annual... :( We hope that the annual won't take too long.

The Detroit area got several inches of snows on Wednesday and Thursday, which makes the view even more attractive...;):D

a couple weeks ago I did a little formation work with my instructor flying the cherokee I did my PPL training in. His brother was riding with me and got this shot using a gopro

Who says millennials don't like to fly? Girlfriend and I flew from WVI (Watsonville Municipal) to L52 (Oceano). Spent the day visiting Avila Beach, Pismo Beach and riding the airport rental bikes around the coast. Very fun!

I haven;t been since last year. The new pavement looks nice. It was getting a bit loose.

Had to delay the flight from NY to OH due to a nasty line of thunderstorms. It was beautiful once it passed though

A few days later we encountered snow and rain. We used about half of the TKS fluid coming back from OH.

I have a few to contribute from the past few months


No idea the model of this vintage ww1 plane but I saw it in the Austrian national war museum in Vienna. My first though was "people actually flew this willingly?" Below the plane you can see some of the first AA guns. My favorite being the machinegun on the wagon wheel.

We had another Pilots N Paws flight. On Friday we brought the French Bulldog Max to Luray, VA and on Sunday we were scheduled to fly three cats from New York to Flint, MI. That left us time in New York City and to fly the Hudson River Exclusion... :) I have to go through all of our pictures, but I already like this one... We did the Hudson River Exclusion at day and night. :D

Ok - here are the pictures from the night flight. We started in Morristown (MMU) and flew the Hudson River Exclusion Southbound:

After crossing the VZ we made a 180 and flew Northbound. The Statue of Liberty is on the far left side.
