You missed your chance:
"There I was, flying up the valley, clouds so thick you could walk on them, so I rolled inverted, landed on the bottom of the clouds and just hung there in my harness until they rose enough for me to drop off and fly away."

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Our route before the visibility got bad. Also, some of my stewardesses.

With IRMA looming I'm probably not going to get much flying in but I did go to the Air and Space Museum in Washington DC. I would recommend.

Here's a few from my trip from Cable to Mammoth. The first is northwest of Mojave; the second is near Lone Pine in the Owens Valley; and the third is over Lake Crowley on approach to Mammoth airport. The trip inspired me to go back to Mojave tomorrow for a breakfast run!

Mojave Spaceport flight this morning. No Burt Rutan sightings, but excellent food & friendly waitress!

Had to fly over a playground where I've done many enjoyable laps, Willow Springs International Raceway. It's a good reporting point for Mojave too.

I had the pleasure of taking a young lady on her first spam can flight this evening. It was overcast and a little hazy tonight, but the air was as smooth as glass, which is always nice for a first timer. She had a slight look of concern on take-off roll, but as soon as we were off the ground and climbing, she was grinning from ear to ear. The grin remained for the remainder of the flight. That's my favorite part. I let her have the controls for a good portion of the flight and she's a natural!!! I believe she's hooked.

P.S. Her dad was wearing a pretty good grin in the back himself.

I've been trying to post a pic this morning, and I'm stumped.

After clicking the image icon, I paste the url.
then I hit preview, only the first bracket shows up. No second bracket is displayed.
What am I doing wrong?
I've tried pics hosted by tinypic, google photos, and imgur.

here is what I get:

I don't see any reference to an actual image (jpg, jpeg, png etc....) in what you pasted. it would have to look something like "https://i.imgur.com/PhsmDby.jpg", which would show this pic

Thanks for the suggestion! I gave up and just went the easy route, drag and drop into post. K.I.S.S.
It worked first try.

Is that the one that's offering rides? I think they're coming here in a week or two.

I'm gonna guess yes, because a few peeps in my development posted pics of the plane at the airport (JQF) and he's been buzzing around all day long. I've said it before but man, it's great that my house is basically within the traffic pattern at JQF, I get to see sht like this often.
