cyclothemia diagnosis

hi everyone!

I have always wanted to become a pilot. I have now reached a place in my life where I am able to pursue the goal. However, I was diagnosed with cyclothemya about two years ago. I have always felt this was misdiagnosed as it coincided with avery painful event for my family. I took the meds (lamictal) for about a month and developed a severe rash. Never again touched the medicine. My symptoms were not even close to what is described in the dsm-5 . I am seeing a psychologust and psychiatrist next week to get a second and third opinion on my case. My question is: does having this as a past diagnosis immediately disqualifies me? Or Would a more recent diagnosis supersede the original one?

I would not add to the record or apply for a medical without first consulting with an AME on how best to proceed.
