Ray Moore, over in NC is scratch building one also. Ray is the guy that's built most of the heavy tooling for B-17 repair in use today.
 
I think it's fine, as long as they don't let them put people in them. No sarcasm, and I'm not speaking of historical flights in general.

Given the shortcomings that were pointed out in the original thread, I can certainly understand that point of view.
