Clip needed

This isn’t a great picture but I need some of these clips. They go on the tubing of a tube and fabric airplane to attach things to. Typically where Adel type clamps won’t work. They are spring steel.

I don’t know what they are called or where to get them. Anybody know?

On my phone I can take a photo and do an image search to ID things. Sometimes it works, other times it gives me options.

Yes I do. They are not listed anywhere in the manual. I called Univair, the company that basically owns Stinson and they can’t find any reference to them.

I really hate to have to engineer something for this but it may be my only choice. Either that or just leave a few missing.

You'll find those clips are not original on a number of US built civil aircraft. But finding new aviation spec ones (AS229x) can be a bit difficult. However, there was a UK guy on eBay that sold them at one time. Not a fan of them as they corrode or shift position.

Well, I found a couple of clips in my stash of stuff and figured out how to make an Adel clamp work. Thanks for your help!
