Chuck Norris reported passed away

Chuck Norris didn't die. Death finally worked up the courage to meet him.

"Reportedly" being the operative word.

Note that it occurred on a Thursday, so after the requisite three days this Sunday we can all shout "He is Risen!" as he explodes out of his coffin.

As physically fit as he was, I expected him to have lived longer than 86. Sometimes you can’t cheat genetics.

The physically fit usually don't live longer. Mel Brooks is 99, William Shatner is 95. Neither one is what I would call "physically fit".

Reading interviews of people who lived past 100 physical fitness never comes into play.

A real good friend of mine just turned 96. He still drives, does yard work and other things. He was a smoker/drinker and eats whatever he wants. I keep teasing him that he will wake up one day and wonder where everyone went.

The reports said he had a 'medical emergency' but are being cagey about what it was. Could have been a stroke, or branch embolism, or few other things that are sudden. He climbed some mountain a few days ago, and then went in the hospital, never came out.

Reminds me of George burns when he was on the Johnny Carson show and asked what his doctor thought about him still smoking cigars…”my doctors dead”..

My dad and 2 uncles passed away in their mid to late 60s.

Except uncle Louis. For the majority of his adult life he was a smoker, over weight, and drank, something my dad and uncles were not. He passed away at 83, 6 months after being injured in a car accident. A blood clot broke loose and that did him in.

Maybe I should be like uncle Louis.

Chuck Norris has a grizzly bear rug in his living room.

It’s not dead, it’s just afraid to move

I saw an article on X that talked about him being a great star, but his success was overshadowed by politics. Then I upvoted the community note explaining that Chuck Norris killed his own shadow while shadow boxing and therefore he cannot be overshadowed.

I'm doing my best to be like your uncle. All the men in my lineage over the past few decades died in their 50s and 60s. I'll be 74 in a few months and so far, so good, Even if Total Wine & More is near the top of the list on my credit card spending reports. (Not the card I use for Aviation expenses).

My Maternal Great Grandmother died at 96 at her kitchen table. Dad is 88 and still active and flies R/C 3 times a week. In common they had a nice bourbon every evening. Doing my part for longevity.
