Closed CFI to get a checkout in a Cherokee 235

Hi.


My friend has a Cherokee 235, fixed pitch, that he co-owns. He says if I can find a CFI in the MMU (Morristown, NJ), CDW (Caldwell, NJ), area, that he would be ok with me getting checked out in his Cherokee 235.


I have about 500 hours, but only 2 or 3 hours in low wing Cherokee variants. I have some hours in a Cirrus.


There are a lot of flight instructors in my area, but does anyone have recommendation?

Who does your friend and this co-owner use for flight reviews, etc? That would seem to be a likely candidate for the job.

They are in North Carolina, I am in NYC metro.

I'll ask around. I'm in a club and most of them don't really do outside the club so it'll take some time to see who does.
