I'm thinking of flying in and getting an RV (delivered to Camp Scholler RV Parking) for 2026 Airventure. This will be my first time there and I have some logistical questions. First is on getting around:

What's the best way to get supplies from the plane to the RV? According to the Airventure site, bikes are only allowed within Camp Scholler and not the rest of Airventure.

Are the Shuttles the best way to get around the site in general?

Find one of the volunteers driving people around, and make a generous donation.

Which type of parking (GA, Homebuilt, etc)?

That’s not a a solid solution as depending on the volunteer service they may be restricted to the airport grounds. As a Homebuilt Welcome Wagon driver that’s definitely the case for us— Sleepy Hollow is off limits. As you’ll most likely be parked on the North side 9-27, the best option is an Uber from either the “Hole in the wall gate” (aka the Friar Tuck gate) or from Basler to Sleepy Hollow. If you don’t have a ton of stuff you could also ride one of the shuttle buses over to the bus park and walk to Sleepy Hollow from there.

You can also get Wal-Mart delivery to the Sleepy Hollow main complex (not individual campsites) for food (unfortunately they won’t deliver alcohol).

We fly in the Friday before the show when the rules are a bit less restrictive and load up our e-bikes and a folding wagon (which I bungee to the back of bike and ride all of our gear from HBP to Sleepy Hollow. We schedule our Wal-Mart food delivery for that same afternoon— you can schedule delivery 2 days in advance.

It might be a long ride, but given that you are in Scholler, shuttle to the Bus Park, then the campground bus should get you close to your RV.
