Bose Headset clipping

When I fly certain C172 G1000 planes, I find my Bose X and A20 clip or skip the first syllable of every sentence I transmit. I have tried to adjust the squelch but no luck. Maybe I am doing that wrong. Any suggestions or comments would be great.
 
That doesn't particularly sound (pardon the pun) like a headset problem to me.
 
I was taught: "thin, push, talk ,release"
If that doesn't help it might be a headset or com panel problem

Are you physically keying to xmit or are you using vox?

Do the other aircraft you fly have G1000 also? Are there are any configuration differences between the aircraft that clip and dont clip?

I use VOX for intercom and keying for all other communications.

Yes, two other G1000s do not clip. I will try to see what their setting are that might be different.

You're probably right.... Like for the other responses, I will look further into the settings etc on the other aircraft that do work correctly. Tks.
