Get a couple of nice used Bose X. They're fantastic. Re-cover the ear seals if you have to and it will be as new.
Light speed Zulu.
How much is your hearing worth?
Where is that "squawk shop" guy when you need him ???![]()

Already got one use Bose X and one new Bose A20...love them. These are for additional passengers (up to 6 total in the Saratoga). My noise cancelling ANR generosity does have its limits!
Anyone tried these? http://www.sportys.com/pilotshop/product/9558
Yeah... Shane's been conspicuously absent from the board....
My buddy has theses and loves them.

Does anyone have experience with the RA950 ANR headset from Rugged Air? I've never heard of them, but they seem competitive on price.

Gulf Coast avionics sells that exact same headset for almost half the price. Apparently it's just a generic Chinese headset that different companies have put their brand on.

I used it for all of my training, though now it's been downgraded to passenger headset. But it still works great.

Interesting. Did you ever use the cell phone interface?
Thanks. The web page lists music input and cell phone interface as two separate features. I was hoping to use my cell phone thru the headset.I did, it's only for music. It doesn't sound as good with music as my Sennheiser S1, but that's kind of expected.
