Final Approach
Does anyone else have it and play on the PC?
I always get COD, but I've now realized that they're pretty much all the same. My favorite was Black Ops original. And as for flying the planes in video games, this has always been terribly difficult for me. The Harrier jet in the end of CoD MW3 (or was it Black Ops II?) took me about 10 deaths to finally complete. First, the controls are stupid because up is up and down is down (had to invert them in the settings). Then, when you want to turn the aircraft, it responds to where the control stick is (goes back to straight and level when the joystick is centered). Arghhhhh!!!
I haven't bought a new CoD in 2 years. Same stink different smell, everytime. Battlefield actually innovates
If you want a flying game try War Thunder, it's free and is a blast. Use mouse and keyboard controls as it's near impossible to be competitive with a joystick.
Why play the game Dave? Sign up for the real thing.

I like the large map and somewhat of a strategy you get with BF4 over the 'run and gun' stuff in CoD.
Just wondering if there were any CoD fans. So far, guess not.

All said and done, I suppose I'm a fan. It's the only video game I buy on a yearly basis. However, my love for the franchise is waning.
No, actually they are part of the brainwashing that keeps young men fight wars for rich old men. Kinda like video poker and blackjack games make people believe they can win at casinos.
Oh hell yeah! I've been playing first person shooters for decades. I know I'm a killing machine! I can take out a whole platoon all by myself in under a minute. You should see how fast I can run, how far I can sprint, how quickly I can climb, how far I can jump and all with dual wielded pistols in my hands, hundreds of rounds of ammo and a light machine gun on my back. Oh yeah, I can really take a bullet too! If you don't get me in the head, or manage to land at least five in me, I shrug it off in under 10 seconds.
A platoon of guys like me could have taken down Iraq and Afghanistan all by ourselves. Iran we'd do just for double experience points over the weekend. We're just too lazy to leave the house is the problem.
weak minded 14-18 year olds. I grew up playing games like this. Never did it make me in any way interested in doing the real thing or joining up. Especially since then I could no longer play the game. You're not the target audience, 14-18year olds are.
I'm pretty darn good at warthunder with a joystick
BF2 was pretty great, the sad thing to me was the map height limit. If you broke that in jets they would flip out and stall in hilarious fashions. Or if you skimmed JUST below it in the F-35 and lit the afterburner you would cross the map in just a couple seconds. Chinese J-10's would always out-turn you so you had to resort to using that to even the field.
I used it up until level 6-7 then realized it was much easier to fight, and look around with a mouse/keyboard.
I'm tier 13 I think and my favorite plane is tier 7
Me-109 for life, seriously. Boom and zoom all day long!
I like the Do217....always thought it was a sexy airplane and it TEARS apart everything on an equal tier, all while taking a more serious beating than most bombers.
I always used the map height as a way to get someone off my tail that I could not shake any other way. either they would not follow me up knowing what happens, or I would re enter the atmosphere after them and be on there tail.
I really miss the F15s and wish they brought them back! The carpet bombing and second seat guided missile were awesome. I hate how in BF3 they kept the guided missile for the jets but the pilot had to do it it made it very difficult to use and all together I just stopped trying
I always felt like the Me410 was paper in comparison to the ME410. I've got all of them unlocked
