They should call Ted If they want it done right.....

I'm pretty sure that will happen right after Americans give up air conditioning and hamburgers.

And yet most of the rich people who are pushing for “climate change” laws live in lavish homes, drive SUVs and are flown to these “climate change” meetings in private jets....

How about no

I think that's all that needs to be said. He went on a rambling hint at seize the assets near the end of the article.

It’s gonna happen eventually one way or the other. There’s only so much of that stuff, petroleum and other hydrocarbons down there. Not my problem though. It ain’t gonna run out on my watch. Future generations problem. They’ll figure something out.

That's the problem with a lot of this environmental stuff, a lot of the people driving it actually have entirely political agendas that they're using environmentalism as a vehicle to push. Makes it hard to take seriously.

I have no idea why this showed up in my Google News Feed this morning... probably the random aviation tag promoted it.. but I've since clicked "don't show me stories like this" - !

Also... really, this is what you pick for the name of your magazine?

this is what happens when you are a loser, jealous, and loud. If you can't play with your friend's toy then no one should be allowed to play with it

which honestly, truly is a modern day luxury, and the energy associated with air conditioning is astronomical.. but they have no vested political interest to start a tirade against air conditioning usage

Indeed... but we don't know what we don't know.. IE, battery tech is advancing (slowly) and you can theoretically synthetically create just about anything. Plus, hydrocarbons fuel our life.. it's not just SUVs that use it.. we'll find a way to cross that bridge when we get there

There is no solution, and never will be, that satisfies everyone. Global extinction will likely have the final say.

Avocado toast, that’s what all the kool kids eat these days

Funny thing about that

“Mexico's avocado boom causing deforestation and illnesses in local population, experts say”

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...-environmental-damage-chemicals-a7397001.html

Better goal would be to stick to eating local, as in from farms you can visit, and for protein eat game meat/fish etc you harvest.

Control freaks cannot accept it, humans cannot stop earth from becoming uninhabitable.

I took my suggestion from AOC's proposed ban on cauliflower.

As a former avocado-grower, I know full well what Mexican, Central-American and South-American avocados have done to a one-time incredible industry in Southern California.

Democratic socialism is an oxymoron (at least for those living in reality).
