Aviation fact/non-fiction book for a 7 year old (no AI)

[CarharttBby]

I’m looking for recommendations on good fact/non-fiction aviation books for a 7 year old for Christmas. The majority of what’s on Amazon is AI and I do not want that. Any good recommendations?

Thing Explainer, while not exclusively about aviation, is excellent.

My kid just turned 7, he’s been taking these two to bed with him.

Any of the Jane's books. Lots of pictures and facts about different. Caution they are a little expensive but were the gold standard for a long time.

Some are now paperback.

Came in here to post the recognition guide. Pretty sure it's one of the first real aviation books I got around that age.

For a 7 year old?!!!

Most aviation books will need some parenting help for a 7 year old, unless they're pretty much picture books.
