Seems ATC figured out a solution in 10 seconds. Would like to see ai try to figure that out.

Airlines usually figure this out ahead of time and change the ATC callsign for one of the flights.

Bluestreak, whoever they are, got some splainin to do about their scheduling. So does the Controller. He was already working the arrival when the departure checks in. He shoulda smelled something fishy then.

It is almost certainly because of a delayed flight, not the flight schedule.

Yeah. The standard is the delayed flight gets a letter appended on the flight number everywhere I’ve worked. To include PSA. The dispatcher working the delayed flight dropped the ball.
