That has the Air Force paint scheme and a BuNo on the tail boom. Did you see an N number anywhere? I thought all those O-2s had been surplused out. Even California Air Attack has retired their 337s.

I downloaded the image and zoomed it up. It looks like an N number on the bottom of the vertical stab.
I saw a transient Skymaster on the ramp at E11 a few years ago that looked like it would fall apart at any moment. It was raggedy, even had peeling duct tape helping to hold the cowling on. The old pilot was asleep in a chair in the FBO. It was gone the next day, so I guess it held together enough to take off.
