Hey guys,

Had an adjustment disorder with mixed anxiety and depressed mood a while back. It was 100% from a bad living situation. Got put on fluoxetine for a bit, moved out, and everything cleared up. Feeling normal, happy, outgoing again. No ongoing issues at all.

Anyone deal with something similar and still get their medical? Did the AME just issue or did it get deferred? How long after stopping the meds did you go in? What kind of paperwork did they want?

Just trying to get a feel for how much of a headache this is gonna be. Thanks.

Once you have been off for 2 years with no recurrence, it's a non-event. The AME can issue on the spot without any records. Prior to that, issuance is possible but will require documentation from the treating physician. When you are ready, find an AME that offers consultations and pay for one before filling out MedExpress.
