Well, I went and done had that birthday I was talking about in this thread: https://www.pilotsofamerica.com/community/threads/motorcycle-question.106711/ . I took the day off of work, but it was too wet to rent a motorcycle, so I went looking for something indoors to do. My older daughter, who has expressed an interest in skydiving but is too young, gets out of school at 1:30. Since she was not too overly busy with her homework, the two of us headed over to iFly, that indoor skydiving company. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but it was a lot of fun. If you go, when you sign up, they will ask you if you want to do a "high flight" for an extra $10. The answer is yes, very much yes. The instructor grabs onto your jump suit by your shoulder and flies you up and down in the wind tunnel, and its crazy fun. It's kind of expensive, but I wouldn't mind going back. Recommended, unless you have a history of dislocated shoulder. I'm still going to rent the motorcycle, just need a better weather day for it.
