Well, I went and done had that birthday I was talking about in this thread: https://www.pilotsofamerica.com/community/threads/motorcycle-question.106711/ . I took the day off of work, but it was too wet to rent a motorcycle, so I went looking for something indoors to do. My older daughter, who has expressed an interest in skydiving but is too young, gets out of school at 1:30. Since she was not too overly busy with her homework, the two of us headed over to iFly, that indoor skydiving company. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but it was a lot of fun.

If you go, when you sign up, they will ask you if you want to do a "high flight" for an extra $10. The answer is yes, very much yes. The instructor grabs onto your jump suit by your shoulder and flies you up and down in the wind tunnel, and its crazy fun.

It's kind of expensive, but I wouldn't mind going back. Recommended, unless you have a history of dislocated shoulder.

I'm still going to rent the motorcycle, just need a better weather day for it.

Nice. We have an iFly about 10 minutes from my house. It ain't real freefall, but it still looks fun

I went to iFly Dallas a year or so ago. Lots of fun and always say yes to the high flight! Im wanting to do the real thing over here at skydive AL but I cant get anyone to go with me. Kind of boring if I went alone.

If you or your daughter want to do the real thing I have a friend that works at Skydive Monroe as a tandem jumper, I can hook you up.

She does want to, but is not old enough yet. Naturally if she's going, so am I. We're also trying to set up some flights in a weight shift trike. She seems to be interested in air sports in general

This is her, quite a few years ago:
