I just posted a thread about buying a 6 seater - Lance, Saratoga, C210, Bonanzas were all suggested. Having never flown any of these before, are there flight schools which rent them out? I live in Vegas but have the ability to travel elsewhere. Thank You!
MDQ has a Saratoga one can rent after getting checked out in it. http://www.executiveflightcenter.com/aircraft-rentals/rental-fleet
First Flight has a Cherokee Six. http://www.firstflightcorp.com/first-flight-corp.-fleet.htm San Diego at SDM
These guys have a 206 and a Bonanza in Northern California. https://www.advantage-aviation.com/rental-aircraft/
If you join Beechtalk.com and do a quick intro with what you are looking at doing, you might be able to find an owner that is close by that would be happy to give you a ride in their A36 or B36TC. I'd imagine the other owner specific groups would be able to do the same. Would be a lot cheaper than flying somewhere (although you have an advantage with really, really, cheap flights..) and doing the whole rental checkout dance. T&G Flying Club in Cleveland, OH has a C210, A36, and Saratoga in their rental fleet. They also have a 310, 340, and Cheyenne in their stable too... http://www.tandgflying.com/rental-rates.html Cheers, Brian
