That was up close to the DMZ right? Of course it seems everything is close to the DMZ there. I started learning to fly at the Osan Aero Club. Only place we could really go on a XC was to Kunsan AB. Only got lost once on the way back from Kunsan on a solo XC. Just glad I didn't keep going too far north.

Yeah I think you're right. Our aero club practice area was just east of there. Think they're really building that place up now.
