Not mine, that was 12 years ago. My oldest son soloed today, just after his 16th birthday. The instructor told him "do three for me, then as many as you want after that". I lost count at six landings. He now has more solo time in the plane than he does in his truck.

I purchased a new carpet set for my '58 172. Does anyone know how you're supposed to stick the carpet to the floor? How about the center hump? The old carpet was stuck down with household flooring adhesive (the carpet was '70s shag) and it took hours to remove all the adhesive. I was thinking...
