Signed up for the Gleim IA refresher course as I do every year around this time. I went to take my first of 8 tests and was told I had to wait 50 minutes before I could take the test. I emailed Gleim and was told its an FAA mandate. Typical.

I have a 796. I had a look at the 760 and didnt see much difference to warrant an upgrade. I did notice that the 760 (like the Ipads) have an HSI on the SynVis page. My 796 does not. Am I doing something wrong or is that not available on the 796 ? Thats something I would like.
