A co-worker just sent me this wmv of a carrier landing. I don't think that it has been on here .. if so, it's still fun to watch again. It definately would be a cool place to fly...(minus the war part).

you don't technically own the unit ... a co-op is really a corporation so you really own shares in the building and are given exclusive use of a specific unit.
considering how long it took me to get approval to change an electrical outlet in my unit for a ceiling fan, I believe it would be easier to get and arm or a leg mended than it would be to get approval from the co-op board for the repairs (.. not to mention agreement on who is approved to...
I think that I would rather see a lawsuit encourage smarter, safer flying than new federal regulations. Also, Manhattan living is very different from most other cities in the US .. 7M doesn't seem totally outrageous to me.
Sounds like a plan, Andy. Consider me a tentative - I have a commercial flight out of Vegas late Sunday afternoon of both weeks - so it will depend on the time and the weather.
